BURGUNDER

The French company Burgunder produced this small corded switchboard around 1938. It has one external line (marked Reseau which stands for network) and 3 internal lines. A metal flap drops when a call comes in. A switch can be set to then also ring a buzzer if required. The switchboard has a handset and a dial. A magneto generator can be used to ring an internal line. The metal indicator flap has to be reset manually after the call. The switchboard requires a 12V battery for internal operation.
