GPO 232

The 232, introduced in 1935, looks identical to the 162 from the outside. It was made available in black and ivory colour. Inside there is an ASTIC sidetone suppressing coil to reduce crosstalk from the transmitter to the receiver. The 232 has no built-in bell and it works in combination with a bellset no 26. Bellsets 25 and 26 have an identical bakelite casing, where the 26 does not have an induction coil. The 232 and bellset 26 can also be combined to form a pyramid.
