ERICSSON SKELETON

Lars Magnus Ericsson personally designed one of the world's most original and now most coveted standard telephones. The two magnets of the inductor are ingeniously curved into a stand. The early model of 1884 had a microphone on a swivel, where the 1892 model had a handset on a hook. The transformer coil for the microphone is mounted inside the turret. The microphone is powered by an external local battery. A switch in the handset is pressed when speaking.

I restored a skeleton telephone that is now fully operational.
