GPO N2120

The GPO N2120 is similar to the Ericsson AC570 and it also requires a local battery. It was manufactured in the UK for the Post Office, for use with manual exchanges. It has the same bakelite housing as the GPO 332. The crank handle of the generator sits at the location of the dial, not at the side of the apparatus. Later models had a 2µF capacitor in the bell circuit. The induction coil has a winding for sidetone suppression.
