Schuchhardt AG introduced a wallmounted model in 1905, identical to a wall telephone made by Siemens & Halske. The transmitter can be moved vertically, so it can be adjusted to the height of the user. The receiver operates the microphone switch when it is lifted from the hook. I have added a 1µF capacitor in the bell wiring to allow connection to an automatic exchange.
