BTMC RTT56B

The RTT56B was manufactured from 1956 by the Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company in Belgium. There is also the RTT56A made by ATEA. The telephone has a metal casing and a bakelite handset. The body originally came in black paint only. Many had a make-over later and were painted in various colours, or even copper-treated. Mine is blue. A peculiar element is the handle to make the phone semi-portable. That gave it the name kettlephone.
